Based on a true story, Will Stoneman (MacKenzie Astin), a courageous young man, embarks on a treacherous 522-mile dog sled race (between Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and St. Paul, Minnesota that occurred in 1917) where he, along with his faithful team of Siberian Husky dogs, must find the courage to continue against impossible odds and discover a way to keep his dreams alive.
