Young Billy White is not allowed to keep Digby, his new loveable sheepdog that he brought home from the pound. As a result he decides to leave him with animal expert, Jeff. During his stay with Jeff, Digby accidentally drinks a top-secret chemical, which makes him grow to enormous proportions. Racing against time, Billy and Jeff must reach Digby with the antidote or face loosing their giant-sized, four-legged friend forever.
