This movie is an Animated Short movie. For Gromit’s birthday, Wallace purchases a pair of “techno trousers,” a mechanized set of legs that can take Gromit out for his daily walk. However, the expensive gift nearly bankrupts Wallace, and he is forced to take in a boarder to pay the bills. Enter a mysterious penguin, who wins Wallace’s affection and drives poor Gromit literally to the dog house. Unfortunately, Gromit runs away just when Wallace needs him the most. Stuck in the techno trousers, Wallace becomes an unwitting accomplice in a daring museum robbery. Park has said that he wanted his second Wallace and Gromit short to be much more “overtly cinematic” than his previous work. Deep shadows contribute to the film’s noir-like feel, while the score recalls the works of Bernard Hermann. The plot spoofs various B-movie staples–the mysterious roommate in films like POISON IVY, complicated heists as in THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR, and technology-gone-haywire in horror films like FRANKENSTEIN. THE WRONG TROUSERS ends with a fantastic shoot-out on a speeding model train set, which was animated with the help of Peter Lord, co-founder of Aardman Animation.

Its 1947 Hollywood and Eddie valiant (Bob Hoskins), a down-on-his-luck detective, is hired to find proof that Marvin Acme, gag factory mogul and owner of Toontown, is playing hanky-panky with femme fatale Jessica Rabbit, wife of Maroon Cartoon superstar, Roger Rabbit. When Acme is found murdered, all fingers point to Roger, and the sinister, power-hungry Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd) is on a mission to bring Roger to justice. Roger begs the Toon-hating Valiant to find the real evildoer and the plot thickens as Eddie uncovers scandal after scandal and realizes the very existence of Toontown is at stake! Who Framed Roger Rabbit is deliciously outrageous fun the whole family will enjoy.

Just whose backyard is it, anyway?

Spring has sprung, and Verne and his woodland friends awaken from their long winter’s nap to discover that a tall, green “thing” has mysteriously cropped up right through the middle of their home. Enter RJ, an opportunistic raccoon, who explains that the world beyond the hedge is the “gateway to the good life” where peculiar creatures called humans live to eat, rather than eat to live.

Suspicious and even a little jealous of RJ, the ever-cautious Verne wants to keep his blended family safely on their side of the hedge. But, proving the adage that one man’s garbage is another man’s—or rather animal’s—treasure, the manipulative RJ tries to convince the woodland band that there is little to fear and everything to gain from their over-indulgent new neighbors. Eventually, RJ and Verne form an unlikely friendship as they learn to co-exist with—and even exploit—this strange new world called suburbia.

Heading up an all-star voice cast, Bruce Willis is the voice of the mischievous con-artist raccoon named RJ, and Emmy winner Garry Shandling voices the overprotective turtle named Verne in the computer-animated comedy “Over the Hedge.”

Rounding out the voice cast of “Over the Hedge” are: Steve Carell as a hyperactive squirrel named Hammy; two-time Emmy winner William Shatner as Ozzie, a possum who excels at playing dead with a melodramatic flair; chart-topping recording artist Avril Lavigne as Ozzie’s daughter, Heather; Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy, who are paired as the porcupine couple Penny and Lou, with a brood of little porcupine mouths to feed; comedienne Wanda Sykes as a sassy skunk named Stella; two-time Oscar® nominee Nick Nolte as a bear named Vincent; and Omid Djalili as a spoiled housecat named Tiger. On the human side, four-time Emmy winner Allison Janney plays Gladys, the president of the local homeowners’ association, who isn’t about to see her neighborhood overrun by wildlife; and Oscar® nominee Thomas Haden Church as “the Verminator,” whom Gladys hires to rid the area of our woodland heroes.

Based on the popular comic strip by Michael Fry and T Lewis, “Over the Hedge” is being directed by Tim Johnson (“Antz”) and Karey Kirkpatrick (“Chicken Run” screenwriter), making his directorial debut. Bonnie Arnold (“Toy Story,” “Tarzan”) is producing.

James Belushi stars in this cop actioner about a loner narcotics officer who has to break in a new partner. The twist here is that the new partner is barely housebroken, but he’s still sharp and keeps his nose close to the ground. Dooley (Belushi), who works on the San Diego narc squad, is an eccentric guy who has pizzas delivered to his car and likes a good steak. He is working on a stakeout of a local drug dealer when he barely escapes with his life as a helicopter blows up his car. When he asks the department for a new car, they give him a new partner instead –a police dog called Jerry Lee (Jerry Lee the Dog). Jerry’s good at sniffing out the criminals but Dooley doesn’t really hit it off with his new partner until the pooch saves his life.
